"No debemos ver la paz como una utopía, más bien debemos considerarla una condición indispensable de vida, como el agua y los alimentos, como el aire que respiramos. La paz es un DERECHO y un DEBER al mismo tiempo. No es una pesada carga que se delega en quien gobierna, en los que “están arriba”. Es una tarea que todos debemos cumplir a diario en la vida.
La paz no es un valor abstracto, sino palpable y concreto y puede asumir formas diferentes. La paz es el RESPETO a nuestros semejantes y al medio ambiente, es la TOLERANCIA con quienes son diferentes, significa COMPARTIR los bienes materiales, así como el tiempo y los conocimientos, es también PACIENCIA y COMPASIÓN.
La paz no está a miles de kilómetros de distancia sino que empieza en nuestra sociedad, en nuestro hogar, pero ante todo, en nuestros corazones."
